Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Employee Feedback Survey

Hi all,

I am not a DXC fan boy BUT i implore you to complete the employee survey. They will release the results before Xmas and more importantly its YOUR time to get your views heard.

The analysis is being done by a third party and the results will be analysed by the company. Its all fair and well complaining on here and giving each other support, but now is the time to use the company platform and tell them how it is.

It doesnt matter whether anything will change, there is a new Mike in town and its time to put him on the spot and judge whether he is the same Mike or a better, more employee focused one.

I am retiring at the end of the year, they offered me a pay raise an a retention bonus. I told them too little too late. I had a great time filling out the survey. I have been in this business for 30 years and worked with the best and the brightest, none of them work for DXC.

Your right, he couldnt give a rats a55 about us, but IF he wants to sell this company he will need to build some foundations, even if they are using matchsticks. Which means doing something for us staff.

It seems he has put a stop to the culling in the UK, that means that people in the UK might have a decent Xmas for the first time in 6 years.

129ebtJp-4yqd When will you learn HR protects the company not the employees! Yes I did the survey, and filled out the comment boxes , why not with so many WRF in the US , it’s only a matter of time anyway.

The new Mike (Sal) doesn’t give a rats a$$ about employees, but he does care how our clients feel. If the New Mike really cared about the employees, anyone with any exceeds expectations would get an instant raise. But no we don’t see sh-t in our paychecks

im the OP and the follow up comments on this thread are utter BS.

Read my last paragraph in the original post, its all fair and well saying nothing will happen and ive done loads of these in the past. Its same ol sh1t....

1) Have you ever done an employee survey with new Mike?
2) Have you ever done one with new HR lead?
3) Do you not want to test whether new Mike is the same old Mike?
4) New Mike is making all the right noises, wouldnt it make sense just to let him know how bad this place is for you? Regardless of whether he shares it, he will get to know!! FACT!!

Do you even understand how absurd your reasoning is? Mine and your issues are with Lawrie, well this new guy needs to be given a chance. If David Samson, who is calling himself Sam now is sh–, write it on the survey. Anyone and everyone, name and shame them. At the absolute minimum someone in the company will get to know how we feel.

Yeah, things may not change, but that shouldnt stop the workforce protesting. Instead of ranting on here, grow a pair of BIG BALLS and rant on there. Every question has a comments box.

Before you say you have no time, you certainly have time to comment here.

Even if nothing is achieved, regardless of whether they do anything or not. As a baseline measure they will know just how fcuked up this company is.

I stopped filling these in after my manager got a bad review for his area. He got all his team on a call and preceded to blame all the team for the review, all bad points was because of how the team did not work and this went on for several weeks.

@3wbp It doesn't matter if the survey results ARE leaked, it won't affect the share price as investors won't care. They operate at a completely different level and are only concerned about potential returns on their investment. For them it's all about the quarterly numbers, not what the employees may be thinking or feeling.

They might release some results - CSC used to... but they will go through and try to find some positive things and only talk about those.

Something like "employees like their colleagues" and errrrm thats probably it.

The trouble is that DXC is a publicly traded stock, if they document just how screwed up the company is it will damage the shareprice, because the results of the survey WILL leak - guaranteed.

The only time Sal might publish an honest set of results would be if he genuinely was planning on fixing things. As such we will be wanting a low baseline and then show improvement over the next few quarters, which would shift the share price upwards.

So lets see, if we get published results then I think things actually will change...

In the meantime, fill out the survey and tell them what you think. Savage them if that is how you feel (it was how I felt!)

They will never provide the results.

I remember a time when employee surveys resulted in management actions and accountability to improve scores year on year.
I find it hilarious to think that anyone could believe DXC gives a damn. If it's not dollar related, it's not important.
As someone has stated they know what they need to do.....but they sure as hell won't do it.

I was totally honest on the survey, I don't care if they know my name or not!

These ‘people’ are still trying to give the impression they care about their workforce, they don’t, they care only about their big bonuses and the Shareholder. Employee survey after survey, and they do nothing, except rip the customer and employees off, get out if you can.

Oh please! This survey is a bunch of BS! The results will come in and probably NOT be shared with the employees. Even if they are shared they will not be the truth. It doesn't matter whether you fill out the survey or not, it will be business as usual. Morale will continue to plummet (not sure how much further down it can go) and layoffs will continue. New Mike and the "leader" don't care about anyone but themselves.

@wyi Back in the day HP/HPE would share results of Voice of the Workforce surveys. However little actually changed due to the results. I suspect this survey will have a similar outcome.

And how many results from past surveys have they shared? None. Waste of time. They know what to do, they don't need another survey.

I think its is a really good opportunity for a employee baseline measurement. The followup survey after the new changes in January is going to be really interesting.

This poster is an id–t. Do you know how many surveys like this they have had over the years? A lot. Nothing ever changes because it can’t. Any form of rewarding their employees appropriately would lower their margins and potentially jeapordize the stock price given that it has gone down from 90 to 30 just this last year. Any “new money” given out to employees will be investments in new hires, in hopes of growing revenue. They have gotten away without compensating current employees for years and have made it clear they are fine with accepting the repercussions of doing so. This survey was probably another McKinsey idea which we paid them 10 million plus to conjure up. Trust me, he is the same Mike. The only thing we can hope for is he is not worse than the old mike. Do you actually think they will even release the full results of the survey if they are not positive. Any results from this survey will be spun and nothing will change or change because of them.
