I've been here for a little over a year, I was wondering if anybody could tell me how often Qorvo lays off newer employees?
I've heard that usually, it's the older folks who've been here for a while that get cut, but it would be nice to know for sure.
I'm just asking to know how much I need to worry about that on a daily basis.

It’s all circumstantial and depends on the needs of the company. Usually temps go first and if the company needs more they’ll ask for volunteers and offer a package to them. No one can predict layoffs and the market does decide it. Yes, someone senior to you can be let go or it could be you. That’s the nature of semiconductor. Just do your best and help Qorvo be more successful in its future.
