I wonder what company would hire such an anti talent . Oops no need for a new job - I guess ML and steak cutter made sure one of the buddies is taken car off . Totally agree with you he is more like a Team Leader than a general manager, he didnt have much to add or knowledge of whats going on, seems like his just doing what his told in a very narrow window of view.
I have to say for the previous Mikey whilst he was a gold differ he had a action plan, even though it was a totally flawed plan, he excuted it in a time frame. These new managers just waffle on without any commitment or action.
Its all well viisiting loads of customers, shaking hands, and telling staff they are doing good, thanks etc but when will we see pay rises and contract wins? They are the key questions he or any of the management wont give you a straight answer on but will divert the question like a polictian,
"new delivery capabilities" just more bull. Like book to bill ratio and thanks your doing well but... and we don't thank you enough.
Means nothing, All just words to keep the troops and shareholders happy.
Funny we hear about Samson David on this site before DXC can put something out. What does "new delivery capabilities" even mean in English?

Its Accenture mates and the new HR directors AECOM mates that are bieng brought in. Hopefully they will be better than the previous Mikey's lot but so far nothing reported in terms of Pay rises, just mucical chairs at the top and i wonder how much its costing to pay off these people into big early retirement packages.
When will we hear something positive Sal, even an 5% increase will do to start off please?

*Carla Christofferson is "chief risk officer" - not quite sure how that fits into a standard corporate model given Sal's definition of her role. She's actually not from Accenture!
*Steve Turpie, takes over for Maruf Majed as UKIIMEA leader - not surprising Maruf knew the writing was on the wall I suggest - his recent calls with Sal online suggested no enthusiasm for the new CEO. UKIIMEA is the second biggest market for DXC after America's.
- Erich Windmuller was the CIO. He has "retired". This guy was a Mikey loyalist and very much tied to Mikey's view of how internal systems should be run. They haven't found a replacement yet.
Still waiting for the CFO replacement to be announced ;-)

It's good work if you can get it. A few emails and quarterly pdf update. Tell everyone they are doing ok and we need to do better. Become more agile but bringing in more blockers. Yep nice and once you've done for a couple of years you've made a nice wedge, leave with a sweetener for retirement. Leave the minions on minimum wage and enjoy the fruits of their hard Labour.
He'll just be replaced with once of Sal's loyal colleagues and it won't save the company a dime! But they should cut the two-in-a-box management style. You only need a functional manager anyway.
Sal eh next save millions in 1 hit. Maybe this titanic can be kept afloat without these gold diggers digging all the money.
About time some of this dead wood got cut.
Need to take out 4 layers all they are good for are sending out periodic emails and come up with useless procedures.
Mike this is one of your correct decisions, we want more dead management wood chopped asap.
