Thread regarding HCL Technologies layoffs

HCL is following through with the offshoring of 6,000 employees

HCL is systematically and slowly following through with the offshoring and reducing full-time the 6000 employees that were part of the expanded strategic partnership with Xerox. C Vijayakumar President & CEO, HCL Technologies had to do damage control when an email outlining the executive plan to offshoring or dismissing the majority of those employees. He released an official denial indicating the numbers were grossly overstated yet failed to mention it actually overstated how many employees would be retained. His email is another illustration of the blatant lies the deceitful, unqualified, board pleasing executives will release placing profits over employees. The separation letter indicates that alternative positions were considered however NONE of those 6000 employees have been offered an alternate position.

Good post from @YhriJTy-4Aruw.

My team is part of this lay off. I was given 3 weeks notice and told I wont get severance info until a week prior to my last day on Jan 31. At the end of it all, I will have been training my offshore replacements for 7 weeks.
