Thread regarding Iron Mountain Inc. layoffs

Cuts are only masking the real problem

I left the company about a month ago. missed the cuts. it was not at all like the company I began working for almost 10 years ago. I used to feel valued and needed. When I left, I was nothing more than a number and a salary. Bill Meany is slowly destroying the company and will walk away with his fat bonus while the company will be lucky to not go bankrupt. I realize he is spinning this to be a cost savings when it is only just masking the real problem of a dying industry where senior leadership refuse to change with the times. I really hope some of the good people I left behind are making plans for life after the mountain. Good luck and God bless to all those affected by the layoff.

Good post from @VTt9r6K-6cplb. I hope she/he doesn't mind the bump.

Complete rookies running the sales side of the IRM business. A bunch of holdovers from Recall. Good ole' boys network that could not make it outside of Iron Mountain. The VPs and directors have to be shaking in their shoes because they know down deep that they are amateurs that can not make it working for a professional sales organization. Advice to upper management, axe the boys from Recall. From the EVP on down. Bring in sales leadership from outside of the company and you might be able to right the ship.
