Dear colleagues,

In our communication of September 18, we informed you for the first time about our planned Workforce Transformation Program. Today, we would like to provide you with more detailed information.

DXC Technology regularly reviews all aspects of our business to ensure we remain competitive in the market and are able to respond to the ever-changing demands of our customers.

As we already introduced in our earlier communication, a Voluntary Redundancy Program is also part of this transformation process. Over the past weeks we have conducted a consultation process with employee representatives of DXC Technology Deutschland GmbH and EntServ Deutschland GmbH. We have now concluded these negotiations.

As a result of the consultation process the employee representatives of EntServ Deutschland GmbH have given their consent to the Voluntary Redundancy program. We will therefore be launching the program among EntServ Deutschland GmbH and DXC Technology Deutschland Consulting GmbH now. The Voluntary Redundancy program is carried out as a “direct approach program”. Additional interested employees send their application to the following e-mail address: [email protected] The principle of "double voluntariness" applies. This means that there is no legal entitlement to conclude a separation agreement.

Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain the consent for the program from the employee representatives of DXC Technology Deutschland GmbH, so we cannot offer the program to employees from that legal entity, which we regret very much. Therefore, as the next step, we will now involve an arbitration committee in the interest of all employees.

We will inform you in due course about developments. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact your manager or HR contact person.

In Germany they have some f—ing amazing employee rights. If this was the UK there are zero hurdles from anyone including the government. They just take the sledge hammer out and knock out as much as they can.

At least this time they do it the legal way - which was not alwasys the case in the past when Mike Lawrey was still on. Probably they have learned that all these lawsuits that are going on are also consuming a lot of money and energy.

Question on post @12ed18Lr - am I reading it correctly that this voluntary reduction round is only open for former HPE people?

sounds like Compulsory Redundancies (as typical by DXC) to follow.
