Thread regarding Anadarko Petroleum Corp. layoffs

CoC/VSP stock & cash

Has anyone received their converted cash portion of their stock since separation? If so does that timeframe align with our stock vesting? Also has anyone logged into Morgan Stanley and seen erroneous funds within their accounts, then have those numbers changed a few days later? Nobody within HR or at Morgan Stanley can explain what’s going on to me.

Has anyone received their anadarko thanks points yet. January 5th was one month and paper states that they would mail me a gift card.

I got mine and they gave me an additional 33% if I signed a non-compete. I did gladly.

Got the cash, stock, and severance at week 7 minus retirement which will pay out in Jan. 2019VSPElection email has been very helpful with any question I’ve had.

Did you sign and return your general release within a short amount of time or sit on it for the 45 days after you left? That makes a difference. I signed mine the day I left. If there's an issue, contact the main email address that was given in your exit packet and ask about it. I got a quick response from the girl who handles the payouts (she was super helpful, but is apparently the only person handling ALL payouts for both Oxy and Anadarko so I kinda feel for her).

At week 7 with Morgan Stanley online showing both stock and cash as “Unvested”😳

Within a few weeks after your 8 day revocation period has passed after you sign the release and get it back to them. It's really not a bad turnaround time. I've seen it take longer at other companies.

Is the month timing based on the date you left or after you submit the VSP acceptance form (the form that you have 45 days to sign)?

This is similar to that weird period of time every year when your stocks vest and they disappear from your Merrill Lynch account then appear again after tax deductions.

Yes, it all works out. Yes, I saw the same issues with Morgan Stanley, but it all works out. You'll get your $, and it will be beautiful! (minus the taxes of course) The timing is about a month after separation date, in the experience of most everyone I've spoken with.
