Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Clarification

My original date to leave was December 3rd. My new date to leave is February 1st. All of this commotion started in May of 2019. We were told if we were to be kicked out before 6 months we would be guaranteed to be paid atleast 6 months.
After that 6 months I was under the impression that my retention would grow based on exceeding the minimum 6 months. I did not know that the six months was also the maximum. As I stated my last day worked will be February 1st meaning I was extended three months past to guaranteed six-month retention payout. So in actuality all Nestle did was have me work three months longer I made it seem as if they were helping me but in reality I was helping them. I could have left and got another job but I was under the impression that I be getting more money because I was here three months past the six-month minimum payout.

i would double check with your local hr. i think u keep accruing your bonus until ldw at least thats what my bosses and area manager told us. just sit and do nothing at accounts and get overtime. the only retention bonuses that are going to be bigger are the people who get paid hourly anyway. all the commissioned people lost to many accounts by sept. to make any more money.

Upper Management for Nestle are ALL a bunch of incompetent mo–nS.... boy it amazes me how having all number items in each category and running it into the ground...make sure you add that to your resume, great job pencil pushers....

Even if they dont give you the extra 3 months in your bonus, at least your getting 45 hours for what 20 hours of work? Count that as the bonus.

You got yourself in an tizzy because you can't thoroughly comprehend what you are reading. Packet CLEARLY states, 40% of eligible pay from May until your last day worked.

Before revealing your lack of clarification online to strangers, just reach out to HR.

Check the dates, it's probably the same packet with last years days. You won't get an updated one until after you are officially gone.
