What a chicken sh## way to tell people they are out the door ! Grow a pair and tell them to their face not call them after they have worked a full shift and went home to tell them not report to work !!

I know some hourly that have been in 737 production for 7 years that got a layoff notice.
News says Tulsa will have smaller layoffs later.
Hourly new hire's can avoid layoff if they are in a job code that's not hit. It's only temporary anyway. Defense is most likely safest. Salary layoffs go by favorites. Update your address or you might miss recall. You still get full pay almost two months, then get about $1800 monthly unemployment. Some will just need to buy health insurance. Switch to your spouses if they got it. There is a lot of help in Wichita. Just go get it! Also get as much money from the banks as you can before layoff. Use it to live. Also get the 0% 12 month cc on purchases for your food and make minimum payments. Good Luck!
