Days are numbered for Denver Office

Oxy is actively trying to unload Rockies assets. Only thing that keeps us halfway safe is it’s doubtful anyone would be willing to take our Colorado acreage, but that’s under political fire. No matter how you look at it we don’t have much time here in Denver.

Gloom and doom really? The DJ is money in the bank , good reservoir, a fantastic infrastructure with highly competent work force living on top of it with a good place to raise a family. It will produce as market prices dictate. It may not go on the tear of the Permian but it’s also not flaring 850mm a day. Administrations change in both directions, recognize the time to buy is when they are on sale not at the peak. Pace yourself shale plays are a marathon not a sprint.

Hopefully you get a chance to receive the CoC package if your days truly are numbered there. Many of us can tell you how much happier we are after leaving with the CoC, never to deal with Oxy again, whether we moved on to new jobs, retired early, or just are taking some time off with family. Best of luck to you. Hang in there.
