Retail business is holding this company up. This company cannot compete with Amazon and Google. Leadership keeps leaving and the ones still there can’t really go anywhere else at the same level. - CEO, CTO, CFO all gone after first year. They don’t have the right talent in key positions. why did the CEO of Honeywell dumped this; because it’s not going to succeed.

Look at who is successful spinning BS in Austin... do the same. It has worked across 2 CTOs... so copy the behavior, smile, target other teams while smiling, focus exclusively on the people above, always smile and be outwardly nice, but keep list, screw people by attacking their effectiveness and by all means socialize ...that count more than results it has gotten people promoted that are still there and thriving

@3whn,
We don’t stand a chance... I know those people you refer to up close and personal... they will never leave on their own because of the gravy. And due to ADI money sustaining the Corp , they can squeeze out another good 5 years with not much result moving from one failed initiative to another
All of them are in on it. So better join them , play the game delay by blaming other teams and deliver whatever ... as costs escalate and lay-off restarts

Spinning BS works well... how do you think the same people that were there with the former CTO are there with the wannabe and want to stay there with the future CTO?
How can we after so many changes still think that the major problem is NOT the directors below the CTO? There is a pattern isn’t?

@2eun,
The problem that could lead to lay-off, is the way the products that must come out are blocked by project managers. We see how they constantly s— time and energy asking for this and that. While we have a great PM in Austin and she is superior in skills than anyone including GV and Melville, she is blocked by other people. Should be promoted to and removed from her current management structure which hinders her, which leads to more delays by creating more bureaucracy...
There absolutely no need for those project managers all they do is confuse people in the hope of making themselves critical to the eyes of leadership

What’s important right now is us continuing our projects, continue to remove all Honeywell employees that don’t do everything we want
Simple as that.
The market today has spoken, rezi is financially sound and a great investment opportunity as we know with fantastic Austin management and development.
Whether or not we should keep many section of engineering in some locations like GV or Melville is a Q4 matter after delivery of some products

I see no reason for optimism.
Sounds like ADI is propping up the whole corporation. And in the next couple of years I don't think ADI's high overhead, high real estate footprint model can survive the continual pressure on price point and margin. It probably worked well when a pro level CCTV recorder and a set of cameras sold for $5k plus, but now the Chinese (HIKVision & Dahua) have flooded the market with comparable units at less than $500, its a different story.

Did anyone that listened to the call think that there is any reason for optimism?

Rezi stock is up this morning, post earnings call, bouncing back from yesterday's cliff dive. Investors must have liked the story being told on earnings call???

Well while the titanic was sinking, the band was still playing happy tunes.
There is still plenty of money to be gotten before it sinks... why do you think we keep having CTOs that use us to get millions and enrich their own direct reports?
Would not be surprised if the lawsuits are able to get billions....

Let’s see how they spin this tomorrow...
The fall is not over... while it may not yet go to $5 before September , thankfully our gurus Frodo, moobs, rsi flashlight, krafty klown, and the rest of the “power team” are already preparing their next gig, in mobile gaming software ... maybe called the “water mafia” game app (was previously known in the project description “I learn on the job doing Lumina all while working in my underwear from home” )

Those guys destroyed the Corp so I hope they get a good ramming where it hurts.... especially those guys sitting In the former “power” circle..drafting little “lists”. They may be in someone else list now...
every person that gets lay-off now, it’s thanks to their incompetence, greed and hubris

Not just options, some of them actually bought stock. Must have been some strong stuff in that kool-aid. Makes it even more insane when you think that these are the same people that are in leadership positions. Hopefully they were nice to people on the way up, because they will see us all on the way down/out.

I would agree...just happens to be the worst week ever to announce a bad quarter and lowering earning expectations. They couldn’t even do that right. The big crash is the 27th and it couldn’t happen to a better bunch of “executives”
