L Riggin just has a town hall CSBD call yesterday and made jokes about associates overreacting and didn't take it serious at all. Her tone was condescending and she seemed a little bit annoyed that she even had to deal with the discussion. What a joke her and her clowns are running our company. Anthem has become a virus itself.

Hampton Roads has nasty, dirty buildings. There's rodents, snakes and bedbugs... and now people blowing out excrement in the bathrooms. Poor housekeeping people... who can blame them for not cleaning it up? But still - there it remains for days - old excrement sits where it landed.
Water pressure is low - no hot water and the dispensers don't have any soap left. Even heard there's broken windows left boarded up for months.

They want us sick to make more money.

Did not know that about VA closures. Heard the alert was sent in error and everyone had to go back into the office. Notice didn't say the information is untrue; just that they didn't intend to tell everyone.

I do not trust any Anthem communication about COVID-19. Their attitude has been lacking in response. They have been no communication about increasing the cleaning efforts at Hampton Road locations.

Norfolk and VB City schools are closed on Monday to discuss logistics and deep clean the schools. Norfolk has shut down public access to all city building and city-owned tourist locations till end of March.

Mass exodus in Norfolk Concourse today after a Security Alert went out for Covid-19 - One person testing came back presumptive positive and one person refused testing.

Here we go... and of course let's RIF everyone while we're at it.

That should really help with the pandemic.

Stocks tanked too. RIFs really help the shareholders.

There are discussions with Leadership underway to see what is best for "business needs" in typical Anthem fashion. Thinking about numbers first before Anthem employees.

I heard today that some associates in CA and OH came in contact with people who tested positive for Coronavirus last week. When will they announce or inform us of this.

Gallina doesn’t like work from home! No work from home for those poor finance folks.

Welcome back Bob Lazar.
You are quite correct.
C V is a real cash cow for Anthem. US citizens have to pay for the test and if found positive, the patient pays for the quarantine.

Don't be a stranger.
Your updates are appreciated.

On the contrary , the IT in-office presence has been mandated to be at minimum 3+ days. In a recent IT Town Hall event, the perception was that (on location) the bulk of the "IT worker bees were not in the hive" , and the queens wanted to reinforce the policy. So go to work and "breathe in the aire , don't be afraid to care, leave but don't leave me, look around and choose your own ground..."

Hope they reconsider letting more people to work from home to limit potential exposure. But who am I kidding, Anthem Leadership could care less about their associates ...
