There will be another 300+ lay-off in August. WU will outsource MORE roles to India, and leave the US FTEs behind. The HR team needs to be FIRED for their hand in this cancel culture.

This is an interesting question which i have been thinking for past 2 weeks now. Two ways of thinking:

  1. As people get laid off, none would have money to transfer it.
  2. As people get laid off, they would want to ensure their dependents can survive and hence would continue to transfer money. Of course, it wouldn't be in the order of amounts they dealt before, but still they would.

Volumes would go down eventually, but company may not go bankrupt, probably another 10% lay off especially from marketing / sales.

What do you guys have to say?

Not as bad as the impact of incompetent "talent" from outsourcing companies.
