Y’all need to call the alert line if your store is not responding to covid protocols. That is not the company direction. Some of the stuff I just read on here would never fly in my store. (No gloves or masks?! We get down to 10 boxes we immediately order more..) Your management teams are cutting corners, yall need to take that to HR (the alert line)

I work part-time at a Ross store. Noone seems to be enforcing the seriousness of employees covering their noses with their masks. On a daily basis i have to work with co-workers who do not follow safety guidelines for stopping the spread of covid. Shouldn't the management team make sure they are adhering to the safety guidelines??!!

Ross said they wanted us back, but only if it could be done safely. I think they dont really care about our safety.......it certainly doesnt feel that way!!

Also, there is a sign posted on the entrance door to Ross, stating that customers are REQUIRED to wear a mask........but this also isn't even told to a customer when they walk in without one. They just let them walk in.

They take hours from other employees and give them to the employees they favor.

I see nothing has changed at ross dress for less stores. So sad that they mistreat their associates and don't really care about people's well being. Where would this company be without the associates working in these locations? This is just sad and pitiful.

As today we have hand sanitizer in every register, we have just the cleaning crew coming in the morning but everything else is on us but they sent antimicrobial spray to clean the common areas, I feel they are concerned but at the end is a business so I can see that but the problem is not the company for me is people that don't stay home and take care of themselves if we don't have sales then we have to close but this is not the case.

I too work part time for Ross, and there is no discussion about closure or protecting all associates. Our store and location is a pool for viruses amongst other things, we have all people from all walks of life entering this location on a daily. We not only fear for our safety but our lives. We have thieves almost everyday and we are threatened by these thieves. There are folks who walk around coughing without covering their mouths, etc. We do not have a cleaning crew, WE are the cleaning crew smh Our work conditions are not ideal as most of our register counters are broken, dirty, and drawers for hard tags , etc are broken and old. We have shopping baskets with shopping bags in them because the counter to hold bags are all broken and are held up using counter parts. Our computer system is slow. There are just so many things that needs attention at this location, but nothing seems to be done to correct them. Just like the working condition, I’m afraid it will be the same with the epidemic of the corona virus.....NOTHING!!

I work part time at Ross. We were told last Thursday we could not wear gloves &/or masks because it creates a bad image. However they dont have hand sanitizer or sanitizer wipes for us. I believe it's going to be a petri dish for the virus.

Our store has a cleaning crew that is supposed to come in the mornings, but seldom do.

They only care about tge bottom line. They don't care about employees or customers. Just want to be sure we stay open.
