Actually I think it is Bernhard Capital Partners run by ex-Shaw Founder who have been building a large stake in the company who caused the board to enact the poison pill, not the Chinese.

Down votes coming from overseas offices? Guess they dont like to hear without north american workers there is no project to work on from your office in Phillipines or new dehli. Latest news report is that fluor is protecting from a buyout by enacting "poison pill" most likely from chinese investors. chinese will most likely not work share with India or Phillipines if that were to happen. Just thinking out loud what do I know.

Floor's response was indicative of how they feel about employees. While focusing on "engineering" in overseas offices, no resources were put into North American offices. There is no infrastructure for employees to work from home. Houston office waited until someone was infected before they let everyone go home. It took them a day to respond.

What response? A legal ease message from the Attorney in Chief Carlos that leaves working from home to project directors? Fluor has long ago abandoned North American workers. We have close quarter seating, no training, no leadership, no work, no infrastructure to work from home.
Fluor is scrambling. But I'm sure Joel and his merry band of men will fix things.

I have been patiently waiting for when a "what goes around come around" will kick in.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
