And it is not about mocking Indians. It's stating facts about what we all experienced while working with the IN part of Refinitiv. And I do not blame them for lack of engagement, taking into consideration what they got from the company in comparison with other sites (I've done my research- much lower salaries, worst equipment or even lack of it in some teams). I mean you cannot expect your employees to be engaged if they are well aware, they are being treated differently.

Let's face it, what happened in Gdynia is one persons fault only. She destroyed a great site step by step, team by team ever since she got the "big boss" chair. Lack of respect for people, only bowing to the leadership and never challenging their decisions, completely disconnected from her people and their expectations. It's a joke really that somebody who was barely able to speak English at the beginning now has the power to decide about other people's lives. I've met some of my best friends now through working for TR (now the lovely Definitive). All of them actual proper talent, all left due to her behavior. and the saddest thing is, she gets gratified for it.

I've been on a TSG funeral party last friday in Sopot, Poland. Best bunch of people in our lovely Gdynia office, legendary team, love them all! TSG area was the only place where you didn't have to worry about political correctness and say whatever the f— you wanted and say it loud too. All is gone now :( Such a shame... all those critical systems in hands of asian ppl who got about 2-4 weeks of training and from guys who did't give a flying f— anymore, being laid off and all.
I can't stop thinking how our big bosses had all the time and talent in the world to make us competitive against anyone really... they f—ed it all up and last chance to make the big bucks - hey, lets sell it all to aggressive investment fund! Jobs lost, families destroyed, its not our fault, its blackstone deed. All left to do is waiting for a fat bonus to come. They should rename us to Definitive.

This is what happens when you have a management who are so disconnected from their direct reports, ie the people who actually know how things are done, and who get things done. And management have the gall to sit in judgment of these hard workers and select them for being laid off.

It seems that folks from India are reaching former (often already outside of organization) content owners via Fb and ask for advice or instructions. It is remarkable.

OMG you are so right! it is a very sad story, how one can bring such a marvelous operation down? this sad failure has been long ongoing ever since AW took the office here :( her hr politics drove so much talent out of here it is ridiculous. who in their sane mind could give hr director and site director positions to the same and single person????

Office in Gdynia used to be a tremendous place, full of marvolous people. Sadly, TR and Refinitiv lost around 70% of them. Younger employees are usually students (and not the brightest ones to be honest) with really average working ethics. Those who stayed (from various reasons, for me it was work-life balance which compensates not competitive salary) are really frustrated.

Of course there is a difference - Poland is a little more expensive, but a lot more professional with excellent work ethics. India - hugely overpopulated with lots of cheap workforce having "a different sense of urgency" and short-term memory problems.
Corporate overlords logic: cheaper is better.
Atmosphere in Gdynia resembles a graveyard.

It is funny how you are mocking Indians, I mean no offense and don't get me wrong, but you are Polish. For our corporate overlords there is absolutely no difference. I am sorry.
