I'm a few months late, but I was part of the early April layoffs. There was close to 50 people that got laid off alongside of me, some career Syniverse people with 20-30 years with the company, Project Managers, Engineers, IT Security, PR people...no one was spared. A contact at the company I've stayed in touch with confirmed 2 more layoffs occurred, one in late April and another in May. A couple of ex-associates have jumped the sinking ship and found other jobs (wish I could've done the same in hindsight, but I was assured I was "needed since dept was short staffed already". Being laid off during a pandemic & leaving so much of us uninsured..but "take advantage of the extra unemployment $$ the feds are giving weekly" was very classless & for all I care the ship can sink to the bottom of the corporate ocean for all I care!
