1st KK, pro’s sold the company to Intel at a good valuation. Con’s after the acquisition he checked out and the company floundered and never really recovered.
2nd BM, pro’s good intentions and hard working, con’s difficult circumstances under Intel as they had already made a decision on Wind and nothing he done could have would have mattered. Very inexperienced and had the deck stacked against him.
3rd JD, pro’s wants to maintain the status quo until he can retire or cashed out by TPG, so as long as he is around nothing will change much. Also, he knows how to play TPG and has managed to string them along this long which hasn’t been easy. Con’s, can’t hold his executive team accountable. You have the exec on his extended fair well tour not adding much value getting paid exceptionally well, you have the cool artist who is out of his league, the scientist who other then power point presentations doesn’t add much value and the list can go on!

Don’t know who posted this, but it’s all pretty much true and accurate.
I do have to question why you posted it, though? What’s the point? To let people realize how poorly some of colleagues have behaved? To remind them of the mistakes they continue to make in their lives?
We are all human. Putting this info out there just doesn’t seem to have a point.
No one can confirm whether those allegations are in fact correct, but if they are it would further support the case that management was just utterly incompetent and allowed this to happen!
I overheard one of ourexec’s explaining to someone on his team how he was going to enlighten the new CEO on how badly Intel and TPG managed us. Same story it’s always someone other the managements fault for the mess!
Not sure how TSD cannot be on the list. Took the company within a couple quarters of bankruptcy. Completely ignored the macro-economic trends in the industry. Blamed everyone but the executive staff. Overall great leader.
It can only get better
Guess we'll see how #4 does now.
It’s nobody’s business how management chooses to run the company. The reality is that TPG is the sole owners of this mess and they will unload when the time is right. It’s nobody else’s business how bad management is!
The head of strategy is the best. Everyone that doesn’t believe or questions the strategy is “stupid”! World class team!
Don’t forget of the former mercury estaff member that has been bounced around from function to function currently residing in PS. Gotta appreciate the brotherhood!
