Be prepared for layoffs after March as well as those that leave due to poor working conditions, heavy workload and l.5% raise or no raise. But there are record profits!! Go figure.

The problem is that know one is told what skills they are looking for to meet the new Business needs. I agree that the member should be first because without them there is no business. It would be nice if employees were given the opportunity to grow with the company & be part of the decision making process. It would also be nice if we were told what we could do to enhance our skills. We are just left in the dark until a RIF happens & then it’s too late.
The E-commerce model meets the needs of the member and makes business sense, it’s the evolution of the silos we are now. I’m not a troll, or a manager, but if you look at the model, it is better for the member. If I get caught up in a RIF, it’s nothing personal, I just don’t meet the needs of the business anymore....and, look for other insurance companies to do the same type of thing in the future....the roles we were hired into have evolved over the past few years and the business is not like it was when we were hired. Either your skill set meets the needs of the business, or not. So, grow your skill set to meet the need, or complain that you’re obsolete
Does anyone have actual information on what positions? HCM? FCM? Transitions? LTIH?
The managers definitely know something. They are getting their CCM’s & BSN’s so it’s obvious. I’m sure they won’t need all of the managers either for the new ECOM. I just wish they were actually transparent & things were rolled out in a more organized fashion. Changes always seems so abrupt & executed poorly. The managers never seem to be trained on the changes either & don’t know the answers to any of our questions. The only purpose our managers serve is doing payroll & our annual reviews.
With no return on investment, HAH is toast. Face it. Some HCMs who are CCMs will be taken on as ECOM case managers, but they will not need all of them. Definitely an RIF coming. Coaches may not be completely informed as to the all details and timing, but they can see the writing on the wall too.
My supervisor has said that Go/ECOM will be rolled out but they don’t know when or what the details are. I’m sure there will be another RIF, this company is known for laying off & then hiring for the same positions, which doesn’t make sense when it’s cheaper to keep staff who are already trained than to hire all new. Are they going to require a CCM or a BSN? Who knows. There is training in the learning center on ECOM, I already took it.
ECOM-enterprise clinical operating model
What is ECOM
If you want to understand what will happen to HCMs in the next few months to a year and a half, you need to learn everything you can about ECOM. Everything will be changing. Hah will likely be dissolved as a separate entity. Some HCMs will be moved to Roles in the ECOM model of business. Make sure you get your CCM.
LTIH. HAH as a whole is in good shape.
Last week we got an email offering triage moves for HAH CMs. Maybe trying to reduce number of HAH CMs?
Fear mongering at it's best.
@1zto+13xUXkc6 What area of HAH? HCCP?
Are there talks about layoffs or just a feeling everyone has?
I think they’re going to close HAH. They had a flat ROI
So that makes no sense. If you are saying everyone will get run off or leave sounds like they would need to hire. I am confused
For anyone looking for new opportunities, a fresh start or just plain over it ... there are tons of RN CM opportunities right now- Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, UnitedHealth and others.
I believe could be true...awaiting raise and AIP information...
