Thread regarding Perspecta layoffs

Is there a path to promotion at this company?

Cause if there is, I don’t see it. The number of positions above me keeps piling up, but they’re all educated by people from outside or from other parts of the company. I have been working here for a long time, top performer, and of course one can argue that the problem is in me and that I;m not material for higher positions, I see it happen to other people as well, as they suffer the same fate.
Will this company ever realize the worth of its good performing employees and will there ever be a linear path towards higher position in which knowledge, dedication and hard work would be the main criterion for promoting?

Just move on. Leadership would rather pay to keep the lights on rather than pay you your worth and innovate. Why do you think they lost NGEN-R?

Path to promotion at Perspecta: take the same job paying market value at any other company. That should be a 30% raise.

Perspecta does not value you as a person. To them, you are merely a condiment to be sprinkled on its problems until your empty. Then, you will be discarded.
