Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Who tested positive?

Re. Calvin's email yesterday. Anyone else concerned about who tested positive for the CoronaVirus and what location they worked at? We have the right to know if we were exposed!

nasty rotten place. les took a step down because he knew it was tanking, as investors were watching China back in Nov/December.
They sold yall out, used goofy Melissa as a scapegoat, (the woman). Then they make you stay in a corona infested hotbed, so glad I left there.

there were written complaints of mice, bed bugs, feces, excessive dust at broad & westerville. they failed to supply the basics such as, toilet paper, soap. That place was ran like a 3rd world country. there is no reason execeutive should make 600k or more annually and the front line employee make 20k, annually. those executives really do nothing deserving to qualify for that type of money. labor makes the world go around.

The care center folks think their jobs are way more important than they are. Reality is ADS could survive without customer care and use all self service and automated tools. Would this be ideal and a great customer experience? No way. But it is possible. Profits would drop and customers would be lost, sure. But the business would still be able to survive, just not in the capacity we do today.

I don’t understand how the care center associates feel they are so entitled. Do your job and just be quiet. Unless you have a solution to fix whatever problem you think there is please take several seats. Until you’re part of the solution you will always be part of the problem. Care center people would rather come on this forum and complain about everything under the sun instead of actually trying to figure out solutions.

Oh god here we go.

The Care Centers don’t “make the company operate” any more then the folks in IT, Compliance, Finance, Credit Risk etc. Not everybody at Easton is some overpaid executive.

I get being p-ss-d about having to be at work in this crisis, but ADS generally treats all their employees like sh–. For the most part Care Center associates are at least getting the market rate for their services (Let’s not get into the absurd bonuses in Recovery). Most of the positions at Easton they will low ball you on Salary and Job Title then gradually keep shifting the work that used be done by 3 or 4 people onto you rather then properly backfill positions. The reason the company is going to sh– is that they run the smart people out the door and your left with inexperienced/under qualified people calling the shots

Customer service makes the company operate and they are paid the least
Not nasty fake leaders there. They are unqualified and were not there because of their expertise
Overpaid jerks.. it is the customer service that makes the company operate
Ju did t like america is seeing
The blue collar people we need more than ever. The mcdonald workers.. truck drivers.. people in warehouse.. people working with their hands
Without them this pandemic would be even worse.
The earth is being shaken up
You folks will seee more than ever how capitalism andnall thse stupid top executives did absolutely nothing to deserve their salary
Capiralism is a charade

To below

  • you are acting like a waste. It is the lower jobs that make the world go round! Thats what we are seeing with this pandemic.

All these stupid false prosperity jobs.. mean nothing.. we need the front line folks the truck drivers.. the folks taking calls about your cable service.
There were 5 cars in the total easton parkingnlot of those 3 wasted beautiful buildings. I have to pass them each day. Corporate greeed.
They make $$ off empty buildings.

Why are the Easton buildings a waste? Because you aren’t qualified to work there? Well let me rephrase that; you weren’t qualified to work there until they made one of the buildings a care center. Easton is considered corporate. It’s what makes the company operate.

Everyone in Columbus care centers will be exposed. They're making leaders from Westerville go to Broad St tomorrow even though a company memo went out saying not to go site to site. The company does not care about anyone's health.

Regarding the original post, the email from Calvin states the employees who have been exposed and/or tested positive for the virus have been encouraged to see their healthcare provider and ensuring (by their provider?) that they are quarantined at home for 14 days AND ALSO states any associates who had close contact with them were immediately notified and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days. I don't know how ADS can ensure that all associates who had close contact will be notified in a timely manner but as to the original post, the ones that are exposed to the virus ARE being notified

They dont houseclean what so ever.
It was shocking when i first came there because the companies i worked for clean. Not ads
The trainer even boasted how they never clean..because in the ttaining room i was talking about how dusty the equipment was.
50 million people or more died from the Spanish Flu. One of the main reasons; not being clean..

I heard it is someone in the Westerville location. I don’t like how Alliance is reacting to this virus situation. If people have potentially been exposed, they are required to be notified & go under quarantine/isolation. No they can’t tell WHO the person is that has it. I feel like they are being very money hungry at this point. If people aren’t paying their utilities then why would we expect them to be paying their credit card bills? They keep talking about how they are sanitizing surfaces but if someone is actually infected & is around others, then people can contract the virus through the air(droplets). I also heard that the person that is infected, was given up to 14 days off to recover.

Sorry place. Easton is empty.
They failed many times to provide toilet paper, soap, clean air at the Westerville location for many years. I kept complaining.
