I am a housekeeper too and my hours have been cut -

I am hoping all of this will end soon

But now I am not sure if that will happen soon as things are getting worse every day

I work at a marriot as a housekeeper yes my hours have been cut due to no one traveling and everthing being cancelled but we are able to take our vacation time. They also asked if anyone was willing to work less hours without hardship. People need to calm down.

MANY of the jobs WON'T be back. This is an opportune time for many companies to downsize their staff and blame it on something else other than 'management.' Downsizing is easy to do during a crisis because it's not the company's fault

I'd say 99% of these are temporary layoffs and furloughs and people will be back to work as soon as the outbreak subdues
