On April 13/14th 2020 Lawson Products furloughed some staff in the Chicago office and temporarily closed their manufacturing plant in Suwanee, GA. Counts are not known but it was considered as a "business decision due to current situations".

4-30-2020 layoff's are now effecting managers ( six of them) sales reps are expected to be laid off in two weeks. upper manages take 20 to 30% pay cuts.
