Will there be more layoffs at ViaSat?

Or are we done for now?

How many recruiters been let go? My start date is soon and just wondering if my recruiter has been let go.

Are pay cuts being discussed as well? Some rumors are circulating about a possible 15 percent company wide in the future, but I have not seen anything verifying that.

6% across the departments but some hit harder than others like HR and security. Government side is safer like back in 01/02 and 08/09. Commercial side will probably have more layoffs if things don't recover soon and I don't expect they will. Furloughs more likely for non-engineering positions like marketing, sales, HR, production, etc. Smaller satellite offices domestic and abroad maybe closed all together.

Are the cuts impacting supply chain specialists? I have seen recruiters being let go and the Director of Finance/Controller is supposedly looking for new work. Are more cuts coming? I sense some belt tightening.

I would expect more but not all at once like the 6%. I'd assume for the next year, people will be let go here and there.

Coronavirus is really hurting Viasat so more layoffs are guaranteed if the pandemic continues
