What's everybody's take on the current communication on bonus.... Anybody else feel that they should dumb it down a bit and cut the bulls**t, in the current climate, an additional thank you payment should be made for the fact manufacturing levels haven't wavered.... Thoughts?

A bonus is a bonus. Some people can't take "yes" for an answer. I'm no fan of upper management and the long and short of it is whatever your ye bonus might have been will be reduced by this bonus amount in all likelihood.
But we've seen things go from boom to bust in literally a quarter. If they give you something now, it might not be there in July.

You ungrateful jerks. US unemployment are hitting levels not seen since the Great Depression and here you are pining for a bigger bonus. I'm not a fan of the mgmt of this company but you are way out of line on this one.
The overlords will feed us some microeconomics balderdash and give us a £3 canteen voucher as a gesture of goodwill Or if we're lucky £25 per head for a team building exercise of their choice for our services . All hail the overlords .
