I worked for this company for 1 year and it was the most horrible experience ever. Full of racism, unfriendly people. You are nothing but a number to them. The can care less if you are sick or dying. They have no regards for the people they install their junk equipment to either. All they care about is their damn ratings and they don’t care of you are 100 years old and can’t walk, or if you are dying of cancer, they will push to install the equipment in your home no matter what. There is way too much favoritism here and only those who kiss the bosses behind get anywhere. This is not a company to work for if you have a family. Believe me...YOU WILL lose them. They want you to be a slave to their work and be available for their customers 24/7. They don’t appreciate anything you do.

And it begins.....
I personally witnessed how they wanted to install in a home of a man who was dying of terminal cancer. The guy had only days to live and they kept pushing his nurse to let them install the equipment to get the ratings for those few days he was gonna be alive!!!!!!!!!! - No, I am not making this up. Witnessed it with my own eyes as I was a trainee then and was present for the install. I could not believe it. This company is heartless and they can care less about anyone much less their employees. Stay away from them is all I can tell you.
True. Now their about to layoff. The info they give to the shareholders and corporate clients is a lie regarding data and how it's capture. When Netflix and etc was created, those meters were not created or recreated to capture that info. Clients don't seem to realize that and go along with it. Nielsen is a company to work for if you're 17, 18 and going to school but not a career. Don't get stuck working there for more than 2 yes. DONT DO IT.
You have spoken many elements of truth. I'm sorry to hear you'd have such a bad experience. Sadly, a lot of companies are like this. Ask yourself what is the foundation of this country? Why would Nielsen be different?
