They pay more than Crystal in California!
If it makes you feel better. I make $23.65 an hour. And. I just watch a machine mold jigs while I play poker on my phone in the corner of room. Supervisors barely even come in blowmold room.
I bet everyone b–ching about low wages thinks McDonald’s workers don’t deserve $15 an hour because they are “unskilled”
Dean Foods bankruptcy had nothing to do with wages and everything to do with bad management. Borrowing to reward upper management a one time huge bonus, selling all diversification the worst example being selling WhiteWave, and thinking milk could be sold like furniture (with the same results that the CEO got selling furniture).
i think we know why Deans went bankrupt.
Summer Help gets $18 an hour here. You guys need to organize.
$17.98????? That is an $11 pay cut for my position here. If that’s the case. Then I’m going to quit. I can’t afford $18 an hour. I have 4 kids, a wife who spends all my money and a $1600.00 a month mortgage. I’m not even counting my $425 a month truck payment.
What a joke DFA!!!
I work at a DFA plant. Top rate is $17.98. I’ve been here 6 years and finally topped out. I am a cheese vat/process operator.
Lowest pay rate is $11.74. And that is for cleaning crew.
So anywhere between $10.25-$17.98 is the limits here.
What does DFA pay? Depends on the position and location.
Pay by DFA for union employees at newly acquired DF plants will be per CBA (so no change to start and increases as required by CBA).
Doubt pay will change for others immediately either. If someone being way overpaid, they'll probably just be let go.
DFA wages are wages that are paid to DFA employees by DFA.
