Thread regarding Robert Half International Inc. layoffs

Those left...

Those left are probably grateful to be left standing and will continue to be the loyal worker bees.

And they'll absorb the client lists from those terminated and their books will grow as the economy starts to grow again. That being said, after spending almost 20 years at RH I left and now own a recruiting business – there is life after RH and it truly IS better!

No more Monday Morning Meetings where we go around the room sharing useless leads and listening to corporate announcements that don't impact most; no more beatings because you didn't close that deal before month-end; no more PARs or SARS....you get your life back.

So if you've been impacted it suks but pretty soon you'll be glad it happened

Yep. I left last year and it was THE BEST decision I ever made.

Watching karma bite former coworkers in the a– has been an absolute joy (illinois).

The "I am still employed and still working happy" board is somewhere else.safe People are angry. This is a safe place to vent. Who cares? Go back to work.

Really? So is terminating someone after reassuring them they'd be fine a week prior. Get over yourself

Badmouthing and blaming helps nothing. Just shows bad character. Personally attacking someone is just wrong.

Absorbing accounts happens even before this pandemic/mass lay offs. I've witness DDs going through accounts and splitting up with she wanted to what she still share with existing AEs. I've seen this DD also get praised for achieving all time highs after absorbing accounts. Its laughable because that's literally all she did to get where she was. While supporting her I've noticed she logged CVs and well, girl was sitting right beside me in our wonderful open space concept.

how many have been laid off so far? I heard 35% figure but that was round 1. I'm not at RHI anymore but I'm still in recruitment.
