Thread regarding Bass Pro Shops layoffs

I am treated better than my wife's company

I have 80 hours of vacation + 55 or so hours in sick leave I can use. And that is AFTER the 80 hours of additional covid-19 PTO that they seemed to have given me. Just learned of this.
I feel very well taken care of.
I can work and save my time or use PTO to cover lost hours. No repercussions for taking time off!!

My wife is getting her hours cut.... she is a nurse.... No additional PTO. So she must burn vacation time if her hours are cut. Or use savings if she wants to save the PTO.

I dont think Bass Pro should be open. Too many travelers coming in. Too many board people just sight seeing.
But I don't own the place. I trade my time for money and that is all.

Think about Bass Pro policies. They are pretty employee friendly compared to others.

Although you accrue sick time as the year goes on, you are only allowed to use 40 hours per year.
