Bad company unless you are an executive. Very long hours , frustrated clients . There are numerous errors some hidden.
State Street is doing layoffs almost every month. There are fair amount of employees have just been told to be laid off at the end of April which is very sad at the peak of the COVID 19. Other banks like JPM, MS, BAC have stopped layoff considering the COVID 19. Don't know why State Street is not willing to take care of its employee like other big banks. Pretty bad for its reputation.
I don't know but for the first after working here for several years I getbthe impression that SSB executives for the first time appear to actually care about their employees. Quite honestly this is the first time I have ever seen it.
Now granted this is impacting every where in the worlid .. India, China where they have outsourcedone so much work.. so maybe they are scared of the impacts to business and their wallets . Maybe they now realize they need us in in the US .. not sure what but Liz this time I think you are barking up the wrong tree..right now SSB needs their employees in the US so sorry you are a bit late to try to help us out here locally .you should have been on top of this layoff c-ap a few years ago when everything was being sent overseas.
Liz, you are right on. These executive pigs will continue to layoff any chance they get, so they can continue to receive their multi-million dollar bonuses, while State Street staff gets no raises and little to no bonuses. Don't lose sight of SSC, continue to watch them like a hawk.
Layoffs at WGBH? Why when they are 💯 funded by “Viewers Like You” aka the taxpayers who don’t have the option to defund by not supporting advertisers on free market stations!
What do you think Liz?
Rather presumptuous there will be layoffs, Liz.
Maybe we should reach out if we see layoffs at WGBH?
Liz - you are fake news
