My GF got the axe - 5 years there at Yelp. So many weekends, missed family events working hard and in a very stressful situation. So much for being 'part of the family' as they used to say. I know they have to cut costs as restaurants are not advertising and other businesses are cutting spedn but this is devastating. They are doing layoffs, temp layoffs and furloughs.

You're good. The employee's total compensation packages are high anyways. It not like you'd become bankrupt and homeless.
F-ck yelp. Too many online winers and the company doesn't care about the businesses. Its a gossip tabloid.
