Seems most companies have had salary/benefit cuts; contractors terminated; layoffs - temporary and permanent. What are we doing?

Peabody was correct. Just saw a guy leave his role today after three years with the company. Hard worker and although was told he didn’t get the contract renewed, was still in at 7am each day working a full day until the end.
It’s a shame the rest of the team couldn’t be in the office working. It makes you wonder what is really going on, but why would you if your position is not under threat?
Jump ship while you still can.
Contractors will be leaving. Confirmed from in the know people.
Polish your resume folks.
in my history with this company when they say no cuts, the layoffs happen next month. As sad as it is they cant spread panic and will talk about strong balance sheet through the end.
Haven't heard anything personally. All I keep hearing is about the 'strong balance sheet' relative to the peers. Don't think they're taking on students this summer (no idea what's happening with the current ones). Peabody did allude to in the last town hall/virtual thing that full times were probably fine (keep in mind, many weeks ago) but some contractors most likely not renewed. Who knows.
