Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Unwanted Posts

Hey this is fun. This shooter bans me from posting from my pc, but not from my phone. I've rarely posted recently because in truth, Staples was on death watch and I was bored. However the virus thing revived my interest cause it was obvious SP was going to use this excuse s— the last ounce of money out of the retail division. They really REALLY don't want you to know this do this post may not last long (their in tight with HR).
Your gonna exist for about as long as it takes the economy to reopen. Furloughed.... hahaha that means screwed. Still working, that means unemployment in 3 months.
Good luck to all. Sorry to be the messenger

You’ve obviously drunk all the company kool-aid!

Staples is on a downward spiral. The FS business will be sold off to competitors, as will Promo. SP is stripping the assets - real estate first, as it’s easiest to do. The next piece will be selling businesses that have market value. And then the rest will be left to die a slow death. Don’t hold out for a good package - there’s no money to pay out any more. Find an employer that will respect your contribution and pay you fairly.

What Office Supply—Facility supply company do you think is going to survive? Someone other than Amazon will make it. With all of the large national contracts that Staples has and the partnership with their vendors, Staples isn't going anywhere. Staples will be buying out smaller companies and taking over their accounts. This is a huge growth opportunity if they play it right.

No merit, no bonus. Don’t worry, in 6 months no Staples!
