For LAPC who took the package last fall, how long was tour insurance paid? I’m trying to figure how many months to ask for and when to expect paying COBRA after accepting an offer. Thanks.

Cafeteria Workers were not APC employees. It is a service provided by a vendor. And 85% or so of HR reps in TW were females. So yes... troll.
Oxy would give two months with last VSP. If you need insurance probably best to keep your job unless you have somewhere to go an get coverage. It can be really expensive to carry Cobra and makes you start thinking about going without insurance. We need more affordable health insurance in this country.
I don’t trust my HR rep so I’m not discussing anything with him. And I’m a fairly new employee here, so I am not as WOKE about the goings on at OXY. I’m not one of you high paying engineers. I work in the cafeteria if you must know, so I’m Not smart like you entitled people calling me a troll. Geesh
Total troll post. If you’re really an employee, all this info is available to you either on insider to your HR rep.
"What is “enhanced” COBRA mean?"
Something that doesn't exist yet you people are too stupid to know that. It's just COBRA. That's it, nothing more.
What is “enhanced” COBRA mean?
I am not aware of 2 months. I think all APC personnel that took VSP had 6 months paid insurance (the same we had before with employee contributions at couple hundred dollars) and then enhanced COBRA option for 1.5 years instead of 1yr which is the typical.
COBRA is over $2000 per month for family of four.
Some got 2 months. I got 6. Hope that helps.
Why would you say I’m a troll? Brush, I’m trying to compare offers. WTH.
