This just in Lowe’s credit card processing down companywide again.

We had seven registers open and still had lines, the credit processing being down pushed some customers over the edge. Many abandoned carts in the aisles near the registers.
Sterling was causing issues for my store as well; this thing that it does with not taking purchases out of inventory until the customer picks it up makes it look like we still have it in stock. Yesterday had a customer drive two hours for a grill; we have them, sterling orders, waiting for assembly.
Of course we still have managers who believe that paperwork is more important than being on the sales floor helping and that any p-ss-d off customer was caused by an employee.
May the law of karma prevail on all these greedy b–tards
Go to sell a fridge and dishwasher both tax exempt in state of Texas this weekend. Both still charging tax. Call manager say we will refund the tax after purchase. Have the customer apply for a LCC. Card will not go through. Call the credit center for an approval code. "Nothing they can do on their end." It's too many barriers. The customer was already willing to wait for the back ordered ghost appliances as long as they go the sale.
These are the failures of a dying company.
Hope it stays that way today, and tomorrow.
pretty ugly here also. people just dumping there carts anywhere
Yes complete disaster. Lines wrapped around store and customers fed up leaving cart of merchandise and walking out.
