Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

Hy-Vee is in trouble.

Hy-Vee is in trouble and thanks to the "Virus" it has been delayed but it's just a matter of time before they file for bankruptcy. Just wait........

I so agree with all of that! I don't shop Hy-Vee anymore. I worked there for 3 years, paid 12.50 an hour, treated like I was a commodity by management. I never received a thank you. When I left I didn't even get a going away party or any cards, nothing. And they even tried to make me go down to 32 hours a week, Least to say, they did not care about me and my co-workers were NOT friends, as much as they feigned friendship. I was miserable and I brought that back home to my husbands and because I was miserable so was he and he told me Hy-Vee is not your company, and you not leaving them is just because you are postponing what you know for something you are hoping for, like better pay, good management, better leadership, bonueses, etc. I took that leap and I am so happy I did. I don't shop Hy-Vee, put your money elsewhere and employees find a company that will treat you well and not as a number.
