These sorts of slimy people, when they can no longer ingratiate themselves and rise in the ranks, when they are actually tested on their merits, they inevitably wash out. But they have an amazing ability to fail upward, and then it’s off to the next host company.
I would think Starbucks would learn. Anyway, this has been good for Nordstrom.
So what’s left to do in tech? Website up, omnichannel seems to work, got the bad bugs out of the mobile apps years ago, so what is there actually left to do?
Tech people don’t understand this question, because they imagine they are perennially important, and love having stupid businesspeople flatter them and throw money/RSUs at them. Nordstrom needs to corral the mess of Technology, beat them down, keep a select few, and dispose of the rest.
