I hear they will be laying off more people. Those who are still furloughed will be let go. Has anyone else heard this?

Furlough the CPs and managers in Production and VPs under Doty. They are corrupt, pay favoritism to extreme and are highly unethical.
Ok, I will finally speak on this board. I've always considered this website as a site of disgruntled/newly laid off/fired or just plain p-ss-d off ex-employees. I worked for this company for years. Been through the good times and the bad. It's been an incredible ride and was treated very good over the years. The mergers and acquisitions over the years have been solely for majority shareholder and executive benefit Nothing/zero for the loyal employees that made the company worth buying.
The fact a company (SG) was 3 billion in debt can somehow borrow 5 billion to buy Bally is testament to the fact that wallstreet/banking is a serious problem for our country. Now let's get to the nitty gritty. Yes, the SG execs were very magnanimous in forgoing their salary by 30/50/100 percent while we go through this Covid19 economic debacle. Yet looking at the 4k filings for SG on the nasdaq website shows the execs and board members were handed thousands of shares of stock while you are sitting at home laid off/furloughed during this "tragic" company meltdown......
Mr. CEO.....next time you crow about how you and your execs are suffering along with the employees......Don't think they are too stupid to read a 4k.
"The people downvoting should probably defend there position"......
Don't know which way you lean boy.....but learn the difference between their and there......
You must be SG VP or above.
As a multi-decade employee seeing what the board and execs have done to the Bally enterprise is flat out sickening and some asses need to be kicked.
The people downvoting should probably defend there position
I am still waiting to be called back.
The thing that furloughed employees can take comfort in is the institutional knowledge that comes with working this job. Would be a bad spot to layoff "everyone". But that being said, at least some may be in danger of being let go.
I just got called back this week. I honestly don't think the people who are still furloughed are going to be layed off. Keep in mind SG has been paying for the health insurance of the furloughed employees. That's a big bill per employee, what's the point of paying that for three to four months if you're just going to turn around and fire them? That makes no sense financially. It'd be better to fire them from the get go.
I have not been called back, and I am getting worried.
This is a false rumor. The ones who are furloughed are slowly coming back. There is clear evidence of this.
