Did anyone received the email on Severance yet??? I am just waiting
In regards to my last post, we’re actually getting paid out our PTO on Friday the 26th. Severance info will be sent via docusign to our personal emails sometime in the near future
I just reached out to my ex-HR rep and she let me know that HR will be sending out an email to each individual with a docusign that we will need to sign to receive our severance + PTO pay out. She said they are working to send these out by EOD tomorrow and through out next week.
No, no Canada online yet but last I heard they were planning for it. I almost laughed out loud in that meeting... Don't know if it's still in the cards though post covid.
I think NYC flagship reopened and I'm sure cash is pouring in from there now though. ;)
N doesn't have online sales in Canada yet? Are you serious?
No way. I don't believe you.
I didn't work for Trunk Club, but I saw it as one of many bad strategic decisions made by Nordstrom in the past 10 years... still don't understand why they bought them rather than just create the same thing themselves? Hautelook pretty much the same deal... but Canada should see them through all this, especially once they get .com up there lmao
Nordstrom is a role model of “how not to F* up”. Very useful. Please share your stories. And some of you are perhaps patting your own backs as you left the company on your own or got forced out. Enjoy the view from outside!
flashback to 2016:
Trunk Club hasn't performed as well as expected since Nordstrom bought the Chicago-based apparel company in 2014.
The $197 million goodwill impairment charge Nordstrom reported Thursday means Nordstrom has written down the personal styling company's value by more than half the $350 million Nordstrom paid to buy it two years ago.
"While this business continues to deliver outsized top-line growth, current expectations for future growth and profitability are lower than initial estimates," Seattle-based Nordstrom said in a news release.
Trunk Club ships customers clothing and accessories selected by personal stylists. Customers can try the merchandise on at home or at Trunk Club's "clubhouses," pay for what they keep and send the rest back.
