You people crack us up. My Director (SB) told me that no matter who runs WIN they will still need computers. WIN has a little over 10k Computers within the company. So who ever takes over will always need these computers maintained. SB tells me " I don't have a thing to worry about".

IT can always be contracted out to another company. My son works for one of those companies. If you contract the IT work you wont have to pay salaries and benefits to your own employees. Good luck IT department , keep listening to management and see where it gets you. Start looking for a job.
I work in the Twinsburg building and from what I personally hear from the remaining IT people this is true. I don't work in IT but do talk to the IT people and yes, SB is telling her people this. They think they will be retained to support/maintain the PCs regardless of which direction the company goes. Either SB is crazy or she is just trying to keep peoples hopes up ? She might be trying to avoid a repeat of someone walking out the door with 10 grand of PCs like what the peep did on his last day.
Wanted you to know that as a former IT employee, this post (and the replies) really made my day! Thanks for the memories, and the laughs! LOL
That is a funny post. I'm sure that Elliot is no to concerned about Windstream computers.
lol, hopefully this was sarcastic....if not it's the new "stupidest post"
You are correct, you still need PC support. That is why we hired people in Banglagor and Manila!
Get ready to train your replacements for desktop support!
Elliott will figure this out quickly.
7852 of those computers and especially the software and worthless apps running on them are unnecessary and exist only to keep the non productives appearing like they have something to do.
