Store visits

How have your store visits been if you’ve been to Nordstrom? How do you think we did with safety precautions compared to other retailers ?

You can’t control who is wearing masks behind closed doors. Fitting rooms included. Even Target has closed off fitting rooms completely. I would not shop at Nordstrom if I knew what was going on behind scenes. The stores are disgusting.

I think that their precautions have been excellent. Yes, they did open the stalls in the bathrooms but there are barriers between each stall and everyone should be wearing their masks. Every other dressing room is still closed to insure appropriate distancing. The store is immaculate and we are cleaning like crazy! Without a doubt, their precautions surpass most other retailers, e we hike still being welcoming to the customers.

Same situation here. My location has taken off the screen protecting cosmetic testers. Good thing, cosmo has been slow and a lot of people order from curb side. Now total 6 people that are tested positive. 4 of them got sick in the end of June, on the same week. Someone in the store has been spreading it. H.R. won't let us know what department got it but I think employees have right to know so we can keep away from the source.
The cases have been surging and that worries me.

Beauty is basically back to normal. My store has removed the plastic covering testers and any the blocked off areas are now open. One week after opening. Customers are testing freely on themselves now. So nice to see the "safety" precautions they talked about when calling us back are now already rolled back less than 2 weeks into opening. Even the bathroom stalls aren't blocked off to enforce social distancing. Why did we add a vulnerable hour on Tuesdays too? People that are vulnerable aren't coming to Nordstrom at 8am to shop. Desperate, and disgusting.
