26 employees from Airbus Americas Mobile Engineering Center, but I've not heard of any from Wichita.... Guess it's good to be protected by J.O. My prediction is that there will be more from Mobile, and eventually all staff remaining at the engineering center will be moved to the FAL. The Euros are taking their engineering work back to the EU, but they still want to manufacture aircraft in Mobile, don't they? Still, guess it's better than Boeing, that is, unless you're an engineer and you want to do actual engineering work, in which case you'd have to be European, and live in Germany or France. Oh wait, they're getting laid off also. At least the government is footing the bill there. Here, it's f**k Americans. They kept mostly foreign nationals in Mobile, while almost exclusively laying off Americans.
