Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

What’s next that VWO is done?

What does everyone think will happen next? VWO is done with the exception of those that are leaving later than a June 26. COVID is raging in the US so the reopening is in danger in many states which may hurt oil demand again. Will there be layoffs, furloughs, large projects paused, etc. I s there room to let more people go?

If some of those 300 simply retire, they would get no additional compensation. Many of those were probably eligible for the max 2 years severance under VWO. LOTTERY was an appropriate term. It’s a bitter pill to swallow.

ELT will start with a few animal sacrifices for divine intervention. It seemed to work for Spectra. Thanks again for buying us and funding my early retirement! 😊😊😊

Some percentage of the 300 people that were declined from the VWO are at retirement age or at least much closer than age 53, and are ready to go now. Quick, easy, and generally positive for everyone.
