Worked for the company for 4 years. I moved up 4 times within the company while maintaining exceptional performance appraisals. The most recent position I had was responding to customer surveys individually by email. This was a fairly enjoyable job, but I could see issues with the process. The department I was in existed for over 3 years, but the entire time of being within the department, there were no clear goals that could define whether we were doing our job effectively or not. This, as you can imagine, is a problem. If I have a department within my company that employs over 100 people and I'm not able to see whether they are a valuable asset to the company, I would question why they still exist. Turns out they saw it exactly like that and fired my entire department all at once. There were no options to relocate to another position making less money or anything. They just fired us and told us to return our equipment by the end of the week and that we can apply for other positions within the company by July 3rd to be considered. The kicker, is that they are not currently hiring for any new positions without relocating across the country. So that was a nice big kick in the teeth at the end of them reading off a preset list of talking points that were provided to the person firing us. Overall, this job is the most stressful and horrible environment I've ever worked in. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to work for this company. They do not care about you as much as they say they do. These are all empty bold faced lies that someone in the corporate office has passed down to their lackeys who pass it to theirs and so on until it's placed in front of you to make you feel much better about being yelled at and berated by customers who have no filter or common decency for 8-12 hours a day while the company continues to file money into their pockets as they watch football from their limousine. Not even kidding about that last part, was mentioned in a virtual meeting one time with Charlie as he was telling us how important we were for getting cussed out for 10 hours a day while we "stood up for customer's rights to the tv shows they love at a fair price". This is accomplished by flat out refusing almost any offer a tv channel owner makes that costs them even a penny more. So, then you have to tell the customer who wants that channel some bs about how we're standing up for them by denying this channel access to our customers because it would cost them so much more money.

I worked there for 12 years , it does not matter how good of a job you do , they do their sweeps and eventually they will fire you so that they can hire replacements for less, also they will consolidate your position and have 1 person do the work of 4.
i feel bad for you , i been there
they kick you out the door with bs excuses , i saw many people be fired for BS excuses over the course of 12 years and like a little puppet i stayed there out of some sense of loyalty, you are just a number and nothing more.
Funny! I worked here for 10 years and was fired on june 23rd and had the same exact experience.
Sorry for your loss. That gig will be offshore. However if you put up with that all day then any retail job should be a breeze for you.
