They went belly up, doesn’t surprise me. Williams merger with access midstream wasn’t all that great as well. Lots of hype and BS with it, lots of good people at Williams lost their job because of it.

Always trying to blame someone or something for a poor outcome! Get over it, the Access Merger was years ago, frankly so sick of hearing people put blame on that bunch for loosing their job or causing problems with Williams today. The work ethic and attitude of the Access folks was 10 times what Williams is today! Could actually get things done, not road block after road block like today! People seem to have adopted the “can’t do” attitude. No wonder Williams can’t be competitive!! Seems people try harder to get out of work than just getting it done!! Also, a little appreciation for your workforce goes a long way!!! Rant over!
Mergers happen they aren’t always good for the people, wasnt h asBales well Especially the elimination of the people that built the company,
I laugh at the “Williams people got hurt it’s Access Midstreams fault” mantra repeated over and over like it was Access Midstreams fault. You should have been mad at Williams/Williams people! They were who wanted and paid for the deal! I will say it was nice to see Williams did appreciate and take in a lot of great talent from Access but obviously “Williams people” hated the idea of someone being able to do a better job than they were.
You are correct about the Access Williams merger/tack over. Access employees were the ones that got the worst of it. Williams is the worst company I have worked for in the 45 years in the industry. When the layoffs start again you can bet the Access employees will be the first to go.
Yup, most likely Williams lose some revenues and income since chk will cut back in operations and demand a lower Processing fee. I say 50/50 chance of layoffs this year, this doesn’t help.
