@qgja+15Hw7lsk. yep i've heard emails going out from some execs...like a soft warning to get your arse in the office..."we're watching.."
effed up at Broadcon for sure.
the company i work for just extended work from home til December.
you guys are f—ed. i'm betting 100% by November...if not then, by February.
if i were you i'd find some n95 masks, sequester urself in a conference room all day. i love how the execs say "were coming in"... yeah as they sit isolated in their own goddamn office.
I’ve been working from home since March. I told my manager & HR they can talk to my lawyer. So far I haven’t been fired yet. They don’t dare. They know what’s what. You are all s—ers in your rotation. I don’t let Broadcom determine my safety
This is so stupid, this is going to be a tech hotspot for COVID-19 infections. Only CEO in the history of USA to put employee lives in danger. What a shame, stop this madness now.
I'm curious how this will play out, as many states, including Broadcom's world HQ have changed their guidelines in the past few days. I really don't care either way, but I do worry if the company will face sanctions for their behavior. Hock is a smart guy. Now is a time to be smart.
love the app rollout. clusterF from what i'm hearing from my former Broadcon homies...
Call Santa Clara health by calling 211, and tell them that 6 ft social distancing is not possible with 50% rule.
Itc indian technical center hyderabad... india
@1gac ITC will have your job soon. You cost too much. we do work faster, lower cost, less defects. Now AS is gone, who is gonna protect u? ITC is better than lazy USA. We are hiring hundreds by year end. Why do you think? Managers telling us a San Jose office consolidation in 2H is coming. Nobody told you?? Have fun consolidating, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
there is no mass layoffs planned. Typical ITC making stuff up. USA are superior employees we will be fine.
well, apparently its something internal but who cares. The support centres are dead, support is being outsourced and after the next mass layoff is already planned for the end of the year. At least also the US guys that were always so proud of being essential will be cut now. However, unlike their colleagues in the Emea offices that are being closed down they will not get the same redundancy packages which for some that have been with the company for decades are quite substantial.
@1opl+15Hw7lsk do you read email..?
What's the 50% rule?
