Thread regarding Web.com Group Inc. layoffs

Web.com Drums Pa to close

Due to profits, head counts, lack of organic growth, and strong management it is sad to announce that the Drums location will be closing. I am glad to see many employees have found new jobs. See Kelly and Melissa for full details. Jacksonville HR.

I sent a resignation letter to David Brown when I left telling him his revolving door policy and no salary increases was going to be the death of Web.com. Fast forward a few short years and here they are. I never had an annual review for the 6 years I worked for them. Not one annual salary increase. This was a c-appy place to work with so many bad management personnel in place that this was bound to happen. If you weren't a "yes man" to Carl, you got no where.

Wow! So glad I got out when I did. I left at the end of February right after retention got laid off. Best decision I've ever made.

So when is this to happen? They already got rid of 80% USA employees. The yodel deal may not go through cause the spin off of Web for Enterprise I’d 1/8 profitable. 2020 is the year Siri’s made web as good as web made solidcactus. Paybacks a b–ch! Ya!

Siri’s Capital does not care about careers only profit and adapting the business to be successful or stripping it and selling off parts. They don’t care about customers, have no honest intentions, are as transparent as a two way mirror. When 80 percent of an area worked for you and you decline drastically every year, takeover, and have to hire 18 year olds cause no professionals want to work fo you your lower than McDonalds. Hope everyone with brains finds a decent place and leaves. Severance is being changed again to 1 month every 3 years you been with and max of 4 months. Does not include medical. It’s to show you mean c-ap to us.

This whole avalanche began the day web.com got involved with Solid Cactus and ran it into the ground. It has been a slow, miserable death. Now some parts of the company sold off to new companies are failing. Laid-off employees have been given little hope of being called back. Careers are ruined. Failure all around.

Ok so they clean house of leadership, get rid of retention, put a twit in place as Vice President, Have two brain dead’s in HR who act as if they can’t find their outfits unless Jacksonville tells them what to wear, get rid of Solid Cactus, Web for Enterprise, Chat, tech Services, Back Office, All offline support, and close the Deli. No one here knows anything anymore, it’s like id–ts are running the show. I am glad they are talking about Union or we all leave. Let them close this place, they pay us sh–, treat us like c-ap, promise us stuff and sh– on us. I rather work for the devil, at least you know what your getting with him.
