I work the register and have to deal with the people that don’t want to wear masks. When I ask them to put one on because it’s required in our state they cuss me out and call me all different types of names. They sometimes call either the GM, the AGM, or the Receiving manager who is technically my boss and IM THE ONE WHO GETS IN TROUBLE FOR WANTING TO PROTECT MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. Like I get it no one wants to wear it but they don’t enforce it at the door and it’s a state mandate I’m so surprised they haven’t shut us down.

The company is terrified of their customers for some reason. Can only gather that some really loud Karens and Karls broadcast on Facebook and Twitter and call corporate to moan. Our store is tourists wall to wall and 75% do not wear facemasks.

Managers have been sketchy as hell. I think they are getting zero information from corporate offices or they are getting a ton of bad information and keeping it from us. Not sure which is true. What I do know is our safety is the least of their priorities.

Managers don’t support anything anymore. They don’t give the same answer to all employees anymore, they are selective for unfair reasons and they know it. This company is showing some dark colors right now and I hope karma comes back to them. They better start understanding the words EQUAL Opportunity Employer.
