Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

It's Randall's last day as CEO.....

  • and good riddance to you, you miserable pr1ckk. You steered this ship right into the iceberg with your overpriced buy of DirecTV. Soon the company will be dumping it for pennies on the dollar we paid for it. You should be paying $274k/month instead of receiving it. Now please go away.

Clearly the worst CEO not since Enron and MCI disasters. He took a healthy company with solid balance sheet and number 1 wireless business in the country, and changed it to number 3 wireless company, the most indebted company in the world whose survival now depends on selling its buildings (latest one is the CNN center in Atlanta) and firing employees. Shameful.

There's a press conference later today, where he will be announcing his intention to join the Wu Tang Clan for a reunion tour.

I bet Ratty needs a transition so he can still be racking in his old salary till January while he transitions to "retirement". After all, he need time to adjust to collecting $200K/month and only $1M/quarter in dividends in retirement pay.

The rest of us get a 14 day transition and a sift kick in the a$$ out the door. But not our wondrous leader.

But he will still be around as chairman of the board until at least January, and Im sure he has a consulting contract for a couple years. So he can still tell John what to do.
