HAS THERE BEEN ANY INDICATION OF OFFERS BEING MADE TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS FOR VOLUNTARY DEPARTURE?

Pretty easy to tell what AT&T is doing right now in District 9. They are trying to shed the splicers close to retirement so they can get a true head count for the next couple years in the MST work group... they can not lay off the Prem Techs until they understand the work load that can be handled in MST yards. You can not eliminate a huge amount of Prem Techs without knowing your workforce in the Core going forward. That is also why they only opened the ESRO to MST’s first and then if the number is not reached it rolls over to DEG and C Splicers. If the numbers are not met then it will roll to Specials and Comm Techs. Then the MST’s will backfill those open positions in other depts from the ESRO and the chop of Prem Techs will begin. Management will be last once the dust clears and they can get a true 28-1 head count of techs to manager. AT&T is not sure if they will reach their ESRO number, but ultimately it will not end with a surplus this time around it will just end with an accurate head count for them in Core side of the house to understand the workload that can be maintaines

And yet still no word on prem techs. We all know the union knows what's going on, they sure are happy enough to keep sending us out to these virus infested houses though. Its a shame how bad we are being used at this point.

Not correct. The total is 315 esro offers out of 2811 bodies. 98% splicers and a few data com tech, cable locators , service techs. And some com. Techs.

As of right now its all volunteers, but we all know that if they do not reach the number they want, the next wave will “volun-told” . Buckle your seatbelts the last 2 quarters of 2020 will be rocky.

I think it’s all voluntary right now. September won’t be as nice.

Bargained. There's leaked docs floating around. Whole lot of splicing techs on the chopping block.

I'd be more likely to give credence to these reports if the Bots would first learn the basic rules of grammar.
